My first blog!

Wow...I am truly in for some serious teasing now that I've started a blog!

I hope this will be a fun way for all of you friends and loved-ones to catch up and communicate, to compliment the occasional "update email".

Ok, let me see....lately, I spend my days working, studying for two grad classes, working out, and talking to Dave on the phone. Still recovering from all of my trips this summer! NYC, Chicago, New Orleans, Montana...I have to say that I was exhausted. Just got back from BR for a 4th of July visit with the fam - lots of eating and visiting with the grandmoms. So fun!

During the trip, I was able to spend time with my brother Paul's "Bride-to-Be" Elizabeth and her mom (Mooms was there as well). Too fun! Excitement over her future "sister-in-law" status. Also, got to hang with Mema, who gave me my great-grandmother's flatware set - hooray from sentimental kitchen supplies! Finally, Nannee and I took a trip to the old "Marydon" neighborhood to see her old house. I love reminiscing about old times and seeing the big oak tree that we all used to climb outside of Grandma's. In the words of John Mayer, "I want to be 6 again!"
