I'm in trouble - its 11:11 and I'm just starting a blog. However, I feel like writing.
Right now, in my community group at church, we are studying justification, sanctification, and glorification - our salvation, maturation, and so forth as Christians. It's very interesting - I still struggle with such elementary related concepts.
But here's one that I really ponder - an age-old question that I can't seem to shake. What's the point? God created us and is omnipotent - he knows everything. He knew that man would fall sinful, etc. etc. As a loving God, he is grieved by our actions and we need a savior (insert many deep theological concepts). Believers are predestined, according to scripture, although many people are not, but on the other hand God desires all to come to know him. Clearly so many things over my head that I just can't seem to wrap my mind around. This list goes on.
But even before all of these theological nuggets, I have to be vulnerable and ask: what's the point? Why create humans, or even this world, in the first place? Why are we here in this world? I'm not talking about purpose driven life stuff either - I'm thinking higher than that, if that's possible. Does this make sense?

Totally makes sense. Why would God create us if we're so much trouble?
Unless He enjoys us so much, it's worth it.

So many blogs I can hardly keep up reading them! Awesome! Maybe it's because His grace is so utterly beyond words that He wanted to share it?
